Sportvisserij Nederland represents the interests of recreational fishing nationwide. Sportvisserij Nederland ensures that anglers are allowed to fish, that there is fish available, and that anglers can enjoy their fishing activities. Sportvisserij Nederland comprises 8 angling federations, 800 angling associations and almost 700,000 anglers. Their areas of focus include legal matters, fish stock management, design and management of waters, spatial planning, information, and promotion.
